Back Cast Away

Movie Synopsis

After Federal Express systems engineer Chuck Noland's (Tom Hanks) plane crashes in the Pacific Ocean, he finds himself fighting to survive on a deserted island with nothing but a painted volleyball for company. An acting tour de force for Hanks (who received an Oscar nod), Cast Away is a fascinating abstract about the human spirit's indomitability, and the overpowering need we have to believe in something.

Movie Sermon's General Warning
