Back Far From the Madding Crowd

Movie Synopsis

Far From the Madding Crowd, based ont the classic novel by Thomas Hardy, follows the story of Bathsheba, a beautiful and fiercely independent young woman living in 19th century England. When her wealthy uncle dies and leaves his farm to her, she takes on the challenge of running the estate on her own. On her way, she attracts the attentions of three wildly different men: a handsome, hardworking sheep farmer, an older, wealthy gentleman, and a salacious and reckless Sergeant.

Bathsheba must now navigate her own heart as she learns what it requires to be truly independent. She knows her actions and her choices affect the lives of others, and she must discover her own ability to do what she knows is right in the face of opposition and hardship.
