Back On The Waterfront

Movie Synopsis

Winner of 8 Academy awards, including Best Picture, On the Waterfront tells the story of ex-prize fighter, Terry Malloy. After seeing his friend, Joey, murdered by corrupt union mobsters, he must choose between his cushy dockworker job that demands only his silence, or doing what is right, which could cost him his life. He is aided in his decision by the courage of Father Barry, a particularly muscular portrayal of a Christian in film.
